San Pietro is the current Church of the Pope and one of the important Churches in the world. Inside the vast interior, there is lot of marble, brone and gold artwork, inluding Michelangelo pieta.
St. Peters Square ( Piazza San Pietro), designed by Bernini and built between 1656 and 1667. There are two beautifull fountains in the square, the south/left by arlo Maderno (1613) and the northern/ rightone by Bernini (1675 ).
